Q: Will you be updating this course for the latest release of ServiceNow?

A: While a course may be recorded using an older release of ServiceNow, the fundamental concepts discussed throughout the courses should remain the same. Because of this, I do not update my courses whenever a new ServiceNow release comes out, only if the underlying concepts or platform UI change in a way that makes it difficult for students to follow along.

With that being said, if you do notice a difference between what is discussed in a lecture and what you are seeing in a different release, please feel free to post a question in the Q&A section of the course and I'll do my best to respond in a timely manner with an explanation of the delta.


Q: Will this course provide me with an official ServiceNow training voucher?

A: Unfortunately, no. I am not affiliated with ServiceNow.

As of July 1st, 2018, ServiceNow requires the official ServiceNow training as a prerequisite to the exam and certification exams cannot be purchased directly. This is very unfortunate because I know how expensive ServiceNow's training is.

An alternative to this desperate direction by ServiceNow is to ignore the certification and prove your skills during an interview. Many ServiceNow partners are more than willing to cover your training and exam costs, since their partner tier is tied to the number of employees who hold accreditation. The whole system of certification is flawed if you ask me. Anyways, I hope this helps :)


Q: Will this course be enough to pass the Certified System Administrator exam?

A: Yes and no. I've had many students inform me that by solely using my course, they were able to pass the certification exam. However, as of July 1st 2018, ServiceNow now requires you to take their training in order to take the exam.


Q: Can you help me with a specific issue Iā€™m having in ServiceNow?

A: Unfortunately I do not help my students with issues that are unrelated to the course. I recommend posting your question to the ServiceNow community if you need help with something :)


Q: Do you have any courses on CMDB, Discovery, HR, Performance Analytics, etc.?

Q: How can I download the lectures?

A: Unfortunately I do not allow all of the lectures to be downloaded on desktop since I've seen these videos posted to YouTube. I'm sorry for the inconvenience :(
However, you can download them on iOS and Android devices using the native Udemy app since the videos are encrypted.


Q: I've finished the course but I did not receive a certification of completion!

A: Please contact Udemy support. I do not have access to the certifications or course progression features.


Q: I'm having audio/video problems

A: Please contact Udemy support for all audio/video playback problems.


Q: I bought the wrong course, can I exchange it for a different one?

A: Please contact Udemy support; they handle all transactions. As an instructor, I do not have access to anything except student communication functionality.
